Indianapolis-based sports performance facility welcomes its Fall 2023 Intern Class!

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

INDIANAPOLIS, IN— Raymer Strength is excited to welcome its Fall 2023 Intern Class.

Meet Caleb Fritsch and Jorge “Dez” Hernandez!

“I’m excited to welcome our newest class of interns,” says Coach J, “because it gives Coach Eddie and I an opportunity to help educate the next generation of coaches AND provides us and our athletes a great opportunity to learn from Caleb and Dez’s different perspectives and experiences.”

Meet Coach Caleb Fritsche

Caleb comes to us from the University of Indianapolis, where he’s double majoring in Exercise Science and Sport Management. Originally from Muncie, he played Football but has focused on Track for most of his life. When he’s not working or studying, he enjoys weightlifting or catching up on his favorite shows.

Caleb is interested in the Strength and Conditioning field because he’s had positive experiences with all of his own strength coaches. They clearly loved what they did, and they had such a positive impact on him that he wants to pay it forward to other athletes.

“Everybody [here] is so supportive of each other and this place has such a great family atmosphere,” says Caleb. “I know I can get a lot of amazing real-world strength coaching experience here and I’m really excited to learn from Coach J and Coach Eddie.”

Meet Coach Jorge “Dez” Hernandez

Dez hails from Indiana University–Indianapolis (formerly known as IUPUI), where he’s finishing up his Bachelor’s in Kinesiology. Originally from Matamoros, Mexico, he moved to Indiana during his freshman year of high school, completed 2 years of his degree at IU Kokomo, and he coaches at the Kokomo Soccer Club.

Dez is interested in the Strength and Condioning field because he admires what athletes are capable of achieving with their minds and bodies. He wants to inspire athletes to believe in themselves and what they can achieve. When he’s not studying or working, he’s training for the Indianapolis Monumental— his first half-marathon.

“I am so excited to intern at Raymer Strength,” notes Dez. “I believe that through the learning experiences I will have through the athletes, Coach J, Coach Eddie, and fellow intern Coach Caleb, not only can I become a better professional, a better coach, but also a better person.”

If you see them during your next stop in, say hello!
