Local Indianapolis Strength and Conditioning Facility Welcomes First Intern this Summer
INDIANAPOLIS, IN– Raymer Strength is pleased to announce that Coach Edwin Arechiga is joining the coaching team this summer as the growing small business’s first intern. His first day at Raymer Strength is May 23. Make sure to give him a warm welcome!
“Coach Edwin brings a different perspective that’s much needed. He’s been a competitive powerlifter and his energy and experience is going to greatly benefit us as coaches– let alone our athletes.“ says Jeremy Raymer, CEO and Head Coach of Raymer Strength.
Arechiga grew up playing soccer and has a lot of love for the game. He caught the lifting bug in high school while taking it as an elective, and thanks to his teacher, Mr. Kelly, it turned into a big-time passion. After embracing powerlifting post-high school, he started investigating what it meant to program for strength– diving right into learning via new educational opportunities.
“I’m ecstatic to be starting at Raymer Strength to continue my education and experience while working along side Jeremy and Jacob,” says Arechiga. “Having mentors and hands on experience has been a big part of my learning process.”
Arechiga has previously earned both of Pre-Script’s Level 1 and Barbell Coaching Certifications. He credits their months-long educational courses and the knowledge gained from Pre-Script founder Dr. Jordan Shallow, as well as the other mentors in his life for helping him continue on his path of learning.
Raymer Strength is a strength and conditioning facility located on the border of Indianapolis and Fishers at 96th Street and Allisonville Road. From welcoming the first athletes in November 2018 to now, Raymer Strength grew from a small garage-based gym to a full-fledged facility, training athletes of all ages. Raymer Strength’s qualified and experienced coaches work with athletes from all over Central Indiana, as well as online with athletes across the nation, helping them achieve their goals of getting stronger, faster, and more agile.
