Hamilton County small business celebrates new educational certification for Head Coach

Noblesville Business Owner and Head Strength Coach expands his knowledge in the field of sports performance training

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Noblesville, IN– Today, Jeremy Raymer, CEO & Head Strength Coach of the industry leading private strength and conditioning business, Raymer Strength, LLC, was awarded the Functional Movement Screen Level 1 certification after many hours of study and examination.

The Functional Movement Screen (FMS) is a screening tool used to evaluate seven fundamental movement patterns in individuals with no current pain complaint or musculoskeletal injury. The FMS is not intended to diagnose orthopedic problems but rather to demonstrate opportunities for improved movement in individuals.

In achieving the FMS-1 certification, Raymer Strength can now…

  • Recognize and evaluate movement patterns that support work, sports and daily activities.

  • Understand the true relationship that movement patterns play in our health and fitness goals.

  • Identify principles to support the importance of movement screening.

  • Explain the role of mobility, motor control, and functional patterns in fundamental movement.

  • Demonstrate the use of the Functional Movement Screen instructions and procedures

With this new certification, Raymer Strength is pleased to announce enhanced functional movement screens that will help our customers improve movement dysfunctions in our quest to move well and build better athletes.

Coach Jeremy “J” Raymer is the CEO & Head Strength Coach of Raymer Strength, LLC. He holds certifications in USA Weightlifting, the Functional Movement Screen, and personal training. Prior to founding Raymer Strength, he served four years at Noblesville High school as the Assistant Strength Coach. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Indiana University in 2015 and his Associates degree in Business Administration from Ivy Tech in 2012. He spent his formative years as an elite Taekwondo athlete, earning 4 National medals, punching tickets to three U.S. Team trials, and representing the United States on the U24 team.

He calls Noblesville, Indiana his home with his wife, Rachael, and fur baby, Ruby.
