Softball Pitch Count and Recovery Study

You’ve signed up, and you’re ready to participate in our pitch volume and recovery study with a Big 10 university! That’s big time.

What’s expected from you

If you aren’t one of our member athletes, look for the CoachMePlus email (you’ll receive it within a few days) to finish setting up your account. Then—

During your spring softball season, open the CoachMePlus app and:

  1. Answer your Pitch Count Questionnaire at the end of each day

  2. Answer your Daily Wellness Questionnaire at the beginning of each morning

If you miss a day, it’s important to back-date your pitch count and wellness answers on the correct day.

We are NOT asking you to change your training, practice, or game routine.

Do everything as you normally would– just log the pitch count data at the end of the day and your wellness answers at the beginning of every morning.

Set reminders in your phone, or put post it notes on your mirror— whatever you need to remember what to do each day. If you miss too many, your data will be at risk of being thrown out. Check out the videos below to learn how to log your pitch counts, answer your recovery questionnaire, and backdate your data if needed.

Let’s get after it 🤝

How to log your pitch count in the Pitch Count Questionnaire:

Home > Questionnaire > Pitch Count

How to answer your Daily Wellness Questionnaire:

Home > Questionnaire > Daily Wellness Questionnaire

How to backdate your data if you miss a day:

Home > Testing > Pitch Count (or Wellness) > Save

It’s important that you answer your wellness questions on the day of because we can’t backdate all of the answers (like body part soreness/pain). But if you forget, doing it this way is better than nothing.
