Indianapolis sports performance business expands athlete service offerings, changes its name

INDIANAPOLIS, IN– Raymer Strength is strengthening its services for local Central Indiana athletes after five years in business. As of today, Raymer Strength becomes “Raymer Strength & Rehab,” and now contracts a top-tier lineup of physical therapy and rehabilitation services in addition to the sports performance services they are already known for. Dr. Taylor Miller, DPT, SCS, CSCS, will be pioneering this effort as he joins our staff starting in March!

“I’m really excited to offer physical therapy and rehab to our athlete population. It’s not just about returning to play confidently after an injury, but also reducing the chances of injuries happening in the first place. We’ve always been focused on that here,” says Jeremy Raymer, CEO and Head Coach of Raymer Strength & Rehab. “But now, we’re contracting independently with Dr. Taylor Miller to add that next level of rigor. He’s really experienced with athlete populations, and overhead throwing athletes in particular.”

Originally from Goshen, Miller graduated from Trine University's Doctor of Physical Therapy program in 2019. He went on to complete a Sports Physical Therapy Residency in Washington State, where he focused on developing a niche within the overhead athlete population. Outside of the rehab world, he lives in Westfield alongside his wife, Cedes, and 2 children, Archie and Vivian, as well as their two fur-babies, Hayden and Phoebe. He’s a big Michigan football fan, and loves spending time with his family and friends and being outdoors.

“I am thrilled to be joining the Raymer Strength & Rehab team! Having the opportunity to work alongside and learn from this group is something that will not only make for a well-rounded experience for clients, but also, selfishly, significantly contribute to my own knowledge-base,” comments Miller about his impending start with the team. “Being able to offer rehabilitative services within a strength and conditioning facility is something that is definitely undervalued, and not as common as it should be within the performance realm.”

Dr. Miller is available on an appointment-basis, and our new lineup of services, as well as associated costs, can be found here on our Physical Therapy services page. Raymer Strength and Rehab will be operating outside of insurance networks. This gives us the freedom we need to prescribe the right level of care without limits on numbers of visits per year, or third party oversight and approval.

“Honestly, yes, this is a huge step for our business, but more than that, for our staff and future interns,” notes Raymer. “We’re going to get the opportunity to collaborate on research, validate methods, and learn how to offer better care within our current sports performance training services. You can’t get better than that.”

Dr Miller agrees— “At Raymer Strength and Rehab, we have the opportunity to offer unique, collaborative medical and training services for the central Indiana area, and I couldn't be more excited to play a small part in that!”
