New sports performance training certification earned by Central Indiana small business
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
INDIANAPOLIS, IN– Jeremy Raymer, CEO and Head Coach of Raymer Strength, LLC, earned the Functional Movement Screen Level 2 (FMS-2) certification after many hours of study and examination.
“This next level in the FMS means that we can provide tailored and more individualized movement solutions to the ‘kinks in the hose’ of how our athletes bend and move, helping them unlock their full potential,” says Raymer. “I can’t wait to pass this knowledge along to my team of coaches and level up the quality of service that we provide for all of our members.”
What’s the Functional Movement Screen? It’s is a screening tool used to evaluate seven fundamental movement patterns in individuals with no current pain complaint or musculoskeletal injury. The FMS is not intended to diagnose orthopedic problems but rather to demonstrate opportunities for improved movement in individuals.
In achieving the next level in the FMS certification, Raymer Strength can now…
Recognize and evaluate movement patterns that support work, sports and daily activities.
Understand the true relationship that movement patterns play in our health and fitness goals.
Identify principles to support the importance of movement screening.
Explain the role of mobility, motor control, and functional patterns in fundamental movement.
Everyone is an athlete at Raymer Strength. With this new certification, Raymer Strength is pleased to announce more individualized functional movement screens that will help our athletes improve movement dysfunctions and unlock their full potential.
